Woman Of Worth Wednesday meet Ms. T'Keya Ann Corbin
Who is T'Keya Ann?
If you’ve ever battled with your identity, sexuality, insecurity; had issues with doubt, fear or negativity, T'Keya Corbin wants you to know you are not alone. The Inspirational Speaker and Author has been set free from self-doubt and fears by being transparent and authentic about her pain. To heal, you have to admit you are hurt. T'Keya knows by writing and speaking her truths, she’ll set other people, like you, free, too.
Growing up, on the Northside of the city of Pittsburgh, PA, T'Keya dreamed big but her reality looked nothing like her dreams - and her dreams did not align with Gods plan for her life. For a while, she merely existed through life; moving from one stage to the next in a season of complacency. T'Keya managed toxicity by silencing her voice and accepting whatever life threw at her. That all changed 2017 following a radical encounter with God.
God said to her “You are going to change the world but first I have to change you!”
To say that God has changed her is an understatement. Today she is using her story and experiences, trials and tribulations to inspire women around the world to never give up on themselves and to believe they are who God says they are.
In 2018 she spoke on my first panel and in 2019, she published her first book “Walk with Purpose Not on Purpose: Transformation from Pain to Purpose 30 day Devotional ” and her first journal “Walk with Purpose Journal”
She was born and raised on the Northside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she attended Pittsburgh Public Schools and spent most of her free time in Manchester.
One of her greatest accomplishments was giving birth to her son August Kirk.
Her favorite scripture is:
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
Matthew 7:7 NLT
